What am I afraid of? There are many things I’m afraid of
like, spiders, clowns, and even the kid sitting next to me, Devon. I am deathly
of spiders. I can’t even stand to look at them. It even makes my arachnophobia
worse when my dad thinks it’s funny to not kill the spiders that are in the
house. I can’t even kill them and you think I would be able to since I hate
them! I remember this past summer I was sitting down outside in the backyard
and a huge daddy long leg spider came crawling up my leg and I freaked out like
a spaz. I just started screaming on top of my lungs and just ran around trying
to get it off of me. The other time there was a big black spider crawling on my
floor and I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a Tuperwear container and trapped it
on the floor. Then I made my friend slip a piece of paper underneath it and we
taped the paper to the container. After we then put the trapped spider over the
toilet and started to poke a hole in the bottom of the paper with scissors and
flushed the spider down the toilet. Next I am also afraid of clowns. I really don’t
have a specific reason why I just do. I don’t see why little kids think it’s
cute to dress up in a red colorful suit and big red shoes with different colors
of make up on. I think horror movies made me hate clowns. I also feel like television
is starting to make clowns more evil looking. The last thing that I am afraid
of is Devon Zobrest. My Online Publishing partner. He makes all these weird
faces randomly; it’s kind of creepy sometimes. He can be very funny though.

L3. Anger
There are honestly a lot of things that can make me angry. I
don’t get angry easily unless someone really pushes it to the limit. One thing
that makes me angry is people that are so called your “friends.” I had this one
friend we were as close as we could be. She was on the cheer team with me as
well. That’s how we grew so close. We hung out just about every day before
practice and practically every weekend. Then we randomly started drifting away.
I don’t even know how it happened. I really hate to say this but she apparently
found someone better to replace me. I kept trying and trying to still be
friends with her and I just kept getting ignored by her. After I realized she
has changed. She started hanging around the wrong people and I realized that I
didn’t need a “friend” like that in my life. I don’t need someone in my life
like that, to bring me down. Not going to lie it was hard getting over it. And
now seeing her walk in the halls she doesn’t even acknowledge me. I also notice
in school she can’t keep one friend for long, she hops from friend to friend. Another
thing that makes me angry is bad hair days. I just absolutely hate my hair
won’t cooperate with me. Fake people make me angry too. I understand that
everyone is fake in their own way. Another
thing that makes me about cheerleading is when some girls don’t put 100 percent
in because then nothing goes right. Stunts won’t hit, formations aren’t right
and they just flop their arms around like uncooked noodles and that’s not okay.
Ugh it just makes me FURIOUS! If you’re not committed to the sport then why do
you even bother being part of the team?

L1. Super Bowl Sunday
Super Bowl Sunday is probably the one of my favorite Sunday
of the year, unless Christmas falls on a Sunday then that’s a different story. My
family usually has a party. We either go to my sister’s house or we stay at my
house. It’s usually the parents all the siblings and then our close family
friend. I always feel like I gain about 20 pounds after the Super Bowl from all
the food I eat. People start usually coming aver around 2 hours before the
game. We just hand around chill out and watch the pre-game. There are also
relish trays, veggie dips, and bread bowls to eat before all the fat fried
foods come out during the game. Before the game actually starts we just all
hang around maybe play a little family game to get ready for the big game. My
favorite part of the super Bowl is the halftime show, obviously. I especially
liked this year’s halftime because it was Beyoncé. She is one of my all-time
favorite female singers. She has the amazing voice and she really knows how to
dance her little booty off. My parents don’t really listen to her, so it was
just me and my older sister basically enjoying her show. I really wish the
Buffalo Bills would go to the Super Bowl sometime soon. I am pretty sure we
would be having some pretty big parties. It would be nice to have our hometown
team just to make another appearance in the Super Bowl, and to hopefully to win
one for once. There are always at least 2 or three arguments about both teams
and players in the NFL. My family can’t help but think that they are always
right. Super Bowl Sunday is just a day to have a fun time with your friends and
family, oh and to eat lots and lots of food!

L4. Cheerleading♥
Sadly another cheer season is coming to an end. Even though
this cheer season hasn’t been one of the best I have to say I enjoyed the
people I cheered with. I made more freshman friends… what’s new. It seemed in
the beginning of the season just after tryouts we were going to have an amazing
season. We were starting very difficult stunts with flips and tic tocks the
very first day of practice. We had our pyramid down solid within the first 2
weeks into the season. Then from their it just seemed everything started to go
slightly downhill. We magically went from 21 girls to 14 girls. Unfortunately we
had girls quit. The thing that made it worse was that they just didn’t quit at
once in the beginning of the season. It was throughout the entire season. Our
team was also hurt by two girls getting injured and couldn’t end up cheering
for the rest of the season. That was a real bummer right there. It was our only
tumbler and our main flyer, Emma. So that kind of shot the team down a lot.
Especially that her injury happened after Alyssia’s concussion happened. This
season didn’t only bring in new cheerleaders but a new cheer coach as well. I
feel that not a lot of the girls liked our new coach at first because she was
VERY strict on us literally from day one of tryouts. After all the ups and
downs of this season our team pulled together, thankfully, for ECIC Competition
last Sunday at Orchard Park High School. We were competing up 8 other very
talented squads. Even though we didn’t place in the top 3 our scores overall weren’t
too bad, for knowing what we have been through. A week before competition we
went to Rylie’s house for team bonding. Of course ate mounds of food just to
get fat. Haha. It was a much team bonding session, we basically vented about
all our frustrations from this season. We have one more competition left this
season, Cheer For The Cure in Niagara Falls. Hopefully that competition goes a
little bit better than ECIC.

K4. Doves
This photograph really expresses many things. To me it seems
like that there is dove on a vine wall paper. But one thing really stood out to me and it was that one dove that seemed real to me. It just looks like it is just popping out of the wall and it looks like the one wing is kind of flapping a little bit. This image makes me feel really relaxed and peaceful. It seems to me that the dove just flew the window since the window is open. Also it looks like the house is possibly built in the country or a valley. I see the doves are landing and/or climbing up the green vines. This really makes me think that someone is letting in new opportunities into their lives. With having every dove representing a new opportunity. You can see that new things just keep flying into this person life. Maybe this person hasn't lived the easiest or happiest life, and this is all they can afford to happen to them. With every opportunity being flown into their situation is slowly but surely helping them. This kid was unfortunately grew up without his parents. His parents were constantly getting in trouble with the law. Therefore the first dove gave him the gift to live with his grandparents. His grandparents then put this kid back on track and into an educational system. Not every dove that flew into his room was a good one. There was some bad doves. Life doesn't always give you good choices in life, indeed bad things do sadly come. This kid already was living a rough life growing up, last thing they needed in life was to make some poor decisions. Good thing they had the right people in life to guide them down the right path. The last dove represents the kid graduating from their dream college and starting a family with the one they love the most.
