A1. Summer

Even though I didn't make any trips during the Summer of 2012 I mainly hung out with my friends and family. Just as school came to a close I was invited to an end of the year pool party that my good friend was having. We played volleyball, swam, watched a movie, and hung out. It was a good time. I did take a lot of trips to the mall to purchase new summer apparel and school apparel. Fortunately I was able to make a couple days of the beach. The month of July unfortunately flew by for me because of my surgery. My surgery was to remove my tonsils and adenoids. It was about a 2 and a half to 3 week painful recovery. I wasn't able to eat, drink or talk for about the first week. Also on the downside I was out of cheerleading for about a week as well, but now I'm hoping it will benefit me from getting sick in the future. My two closest friends and I would always try to have sleepovers on Monday nights to watch our favorite summer show "Teen Wolf." We would always switch up the houses we slept at each week. We had a couple times where we had stayed up until we saw daylight again. For the 4th of July, my family and I took a day trip to Niawanda Park in Townawanda. Niawanda Park is located along the Niagara just about 10 minutes past the Grand Island Bridges. It is a nice place to just relax and get away from any drama. The park has a bike path you can walk or ride your bike and has an ice cream shop to get ice cream, slushies, milkshakes etc. To close off my summer, I had to help move my brother back to college in Brockport. It was sad to see him move out of the house, even though we may get on each others nerves at times.
