O2. College

After high school I do plan on attending college. There are many reasons why I want to go to college. One reason is to pursue in a career and have a job to support a family. I am still torn between a decision with going away from home to go to school or staying at home. Part of me tells myself to move out of state but yet part tells me to stay home. I would like to move away to experience life on my own. But I wouldn’t move to far away from. If I did move out of state I would either go to a state boarding New York or Ohio where my aunt and uncle lives. Also the reason why I would want to stay home is because I’m close to home in case of anything. I don’t think that college should be expensive as it is. Our country wants students to get an education, but some schooling is outrageous with their expenses. There are some people who want to go to college but aren’t able to afford it. I also believe that people that do get a college education will go farther in life. Only because they will more than likely have a degree, and will be able to use their degree to work at a paying job. I want to attend college to pursue in a nursing career. A reason why I want to pursue in the medical field is because job opportunities are constantly available. So far I have visited one college, Trocaire College. I really enjoyed it there because their class size is approximately the same here at Alden, 18-21 students. But on the other hand I want to attend a college where I can dorm and experience the college life there. I plan on attending many more colleges over the summer, and hopefully decide soon!
