D2. English with Mr. Currin

My favorite class by far this year would have to be English. I have never had much interest in English class because I really don’t enjoy reading and plus it is hard for me to comprehend. But as of this year I have changed my view on the class itself. Every day I really look forward to step foot into his class. In the matter of minutes it could just turn my whole day and mood around. The class is filled with great people, and I mostly talk to everyone in there, and just to make the class better I have English with Mr. Currin. You can just feel the love in the class room and how everybody gets along. I love how we have a lot of fun but yet still manage to get work done. Right now in English we are currently reading and acting out The Crucible. I like acting the play out because it makes me understand easier on what is going on in the play. Also our class isn’t bad at acting we actually get really into it. My favorite part of the play so far is when Lauren jumped out the window and ran away from the school, then after Marisa had to go run after her. The thing that makes it the funniest is that Mr. Currin wasn’t expecting them to jump out the window. So far in English we have a read a couple short stories and practices short answer responses and wrote a couple paragraphs.  Also we took a one day break from reading The Crucible and worked on poetry. We had to find two poems that we enjoyed reading and then we had to write two of our own poems. I am honestly looking forward to spending the rest of my English year in room 110.
