After my high school years I would like to attend college to
pursue in a nursing career. My top
college I’m aiming for is Trocaire College. I want to follow in my mother’s
footsteps of nursing. My mom is an LPN but I want to up the level to becoming
and RN. I could either attend ECC for 2 years or then transfer to Trocaire to
finish off my schooling or start and end there. I have a few other colleges in
mind also. It’s going to be a tough decision for me to accept because of my
athletic activity. Unfortunately Trocaire College doesn’t offer cheerleading in
fact any sports to be honest, so that’s why I’m also keeping an eye open at
Niagara University. But I also have to keep in consideration what is going to
help me in my future cheerleading or schooling? While going to school I would like
to try to find a job at a nursing home being an aid to help myself with being a
Registered Nurse. If I do end up going to Trocaire College I want to graduate
with my Associated Degree, then go back for two more years to receive my Bachelor’s
Degree. I hope to graduate with my Bachelor’s Degree and try to search for a
job at either a local hospital or a doctor’s office. I know that this is not
going to be an easy goal for myself that I have set, but I do like to set challenges
to achieve. I also know that if I do end up needing any help my mother would be
more than happy to help me study, since she has been through some of the same
schooling I will be going through. I just hope that I don’t end up changing my
major while attending college. Many years down the road after college and
getting employed I hope to get married and have at least 2 children. I know a
lot can change over the years but these are the dreams that I hope never come
to consideration of being changed.
